The Walk is organised by
St. George’s Primary School PTA (registered charity) and was first started in 2003.
The 15th walk is on Saturday 13th May 2017. During the past 14 years it has grown into a great Challenge event raising thousands of pounds for our children.
Venue: The walk starts and finishes at St George’s C of E Primary School, Clun. Please follow signs and steward’s instructions for

Route: Choose either the 26 or 16 mile route, both with some challenging Shropshire Hills (approximately 4300’ of ascent). The scenery is spectacular and the route consists of tracks, bridleways, footpaths and a minimal amount of quiet road walking/running. There are 3 manned checkpoints (long route) with refreshments in addition to self clip passage controls.
A grid reference route will be issued on receipt of entry. This route is designed for use with O.S. Explorer Maps 201 and 216. If you do not have a map you can buy one here.
Accommodation: A list of local B&Bs can be obtained from Tourist Information Centres or via the Clun Website at www.clun.org.uk
Refreshments: There will be hot and cold snacks at each checkpoint and a gourmet buffet is available at the finish.
Entry: The Entry Fee for 2017 is £22. This includes certificate, refreshments and food. Online Entry will be available from 4th January 2017.
Early Bird Special Offer: Register for entry before the 31st January 2017 for a reduced entry of £19. This offer is strictly time limited and entries received after that date will be at the full price of £22.
